How to Build a Blogging Following For FREE!

Hey Guys,

I just stumbled on this blog post from Chuck Westbrook today and thought it was a really cool idea.

From my understanding he’s getting a group of bloggers together who give out great content and then those bloggers will all read one of the member’s blogs for two weeks which will help get that person traffic, give them feedback and get more links back to them. I think it’s a very interesting way to build your business for FREE and a nice way to develop some friendships.

Check it out

I’ve got this post from Reed Floren Blog here :www.reedfloren.com

Things You Have To Do With Your Email List

Hello Bloggers..

Many Blogs I watch have their own opt-in form to make people sign up to their newsletter and all what they did is sending email after email telling them there is a new post on their blog leaving other potential of his list as he can maximise its use by doing

-Offering Gifts

Give your readers something in return for being so loyal to your blog and reading your newsletter you send to them every single time. Freebies can be in the form of your self-written E-Book or anything of value in which you can give it to your newsletter subscribers also you can use other internet marketers gift but you must say its name.

-Selling Your Product

Offer a discounted price to your subscribers for products that you created yourself. This will establish a closer relationship with your subscribers and the fact that they join your newsletters implied that they are interested in the topic you talk about. This will also be the group of potential buyers to your product since they have already know what kind of quality you delivered through your daily blog entries.

-Request For Testimonials

You need social proof from people whenever you want to sell your products. Therefore, the email list that you have are the best source of testimonials you can get from. Most would be willing to help you since they know that your product would definitely be of good quality.

-Request For Affiliates

You will need affiliates to help you to promote and sell your products. Your email list is again your best source. At this point of time, you can already see the potential of creating your own products when you have a handful of email list.

-Selling Other People’s Products

Newsletter can be a really great way to maximize your affiliate commisions as you can send them your review of a product and tell them what is special about it then sell it to them!

-Getting Content Ideas

There might be times where you are lacking content to blog about and you can turn to your group of subscribers. Ask them what they would wish to know more and what do they what to improve. This is very helpful because it not only give you ideas on what to write but also answering the doubts of your subscribers.

-Outsourcing For Help

You might be good in blogging but know nuts about website building and you can also seek help from your subscribers. You can offer him a price for him to get the things done for you. This will be another way to build relationship with your subscribers.

There are so many things that you can do with your email list and are very essential as your website or blog grows larger. Do build your own opt in form today and apply some of the ways that I have mention. Best of luck to your success in handling your email list.

Is Clickbank Legit?

Here is the answer: Yes, with a sometimes no. But that takes explanation.

First, what makes Clickbank such a brilliant idea is that it eliminates the gate-keepers who stand in the way of folks publishing their books, software or services.  These gate-keepers are traditionally known as book and software publishers. And even worse the gate-keepers take the lion’s share of profit. Clickbank has a fairly populist approach. They let a good majority of products into the Clickbank market place. They do ban certain types of sites, but for the most part it is an open, free-market service.  This is an inherently good thing. It’s really like how a democracy should work. And all democracy is built on tolerance. If you want a free exchange of commerce and ideas you must tolerate junk and bad ideas along with the good and great.

Furthermore, like a democracy there is a form of voting and that is the refund rate. If a product’s refund rate climbs too high Clickbank boots the product from the marketplace.  So essentially the Clickbank customers are in charge of deciding which products rise to the top and which products sink to the bottom. That is a true free-market democracy at work with very little regulation, but enough to keep things fairly balanced.

So Clickbank itself is a highly legit service. It’s a fantastic service for publishers, affiliates and customers.

Where it falls into the grey zone is that are blatant scam products on Clickbank. Some of them even becomes bestsellers (for a while, at least). But there is no way Clickbank can check and vet every product before it enters the marketplace. First of all they don’t have the expertise in every niche to weight the validity of every product. Again, they take the free-market approach and let the market decide if the product is good or not. And this is a good thing. If they censored upfront and gate-keeped they would be just like any other big, overgrown Publishing Corporation… There would be too much red tape for publishers to cut through to get published.

But what really makes Clickbank a legit service is that they provide refunds to customers. You have sixty days to return a product you don’t like  and you can return it for any reason. So there is a safety-net in place.

As a full-time Clickbank affiliate I purchase products all the time through Clickbank and I do so worry free, because I know if the product is a scam or sub-standard all I have to do is contact Clickbank and a refund is immediately issued.  So  there you go, whether you’re an affiliate, customer or publisher you can rest assured that Clickbank is a legit service.
